I had longed been intrigued hearing about Singaporean restaurant franchise Paradise Dynasty restaurant and I had passed by many times at one of the branches in SM Aura seeing a group of families dining and some happy group of friends as well feasting to different Chinese foods on their table. That's why when I got invited to try out their food I was like ow yes been waiting to try out Paradise Dynasty.

Dining at Paradise Dynasty is like taking a step back to imperial China while inside a private room while sipping a cup of tea while waiting for the food to be served. Majestic restaurant settings while immersing yourself in the finest of northern and southern China cuisine. Paradise Dynasty expanded to other countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, after it opened in Singapore in 2010. And in 2016 opened it's first flagship branch in S Maison here in Manila, Philippines. Followed by their SM Aura branch were I am near.

Paradise Dynasty’s façade welcomes diners, dine against a backdrop of a luxury, plush dining ambiance and customized imperial court lamp chandeliers and grandeur befitting for kings with elegance and provides a luxurious fine dining experience, perfect for a king and a queen (at heart) :). Paradise Dynasty The Podium branch, is a 164-sqm dining place that caters to Ortigas people. The restaurant exudes a minimalist ambiance. There are two function rooms with lazy daisy tables and cushioned seats for private functions. These rooms can be combined to accommodate 28-30 people.

Paradise Dynasty' is a Singaporean restaurant franchise that offers the world's famous 8 flavored Xiao Long Bao, or soup dumpling is traditional street food from Shanghai that is delicately handcrafted with 18 pinches to form the spiral knot. If the color itself attracts your appetite well I tell you its really good to eat what is surprising in the inside as well. 

There are two unique ways to eat it either by one big whole bite swallowing all or poke enough whole on the wrapper to release the broth first and delicately sipping the broth before eating the rest. Starting from Orginal to Ginseng going clockwise to Foie Gras, Black Truffle, Cheesy, Crab Roe, Garlic and Szechuan to ensure an optimum taste of bursting flavors. Created by Eldwin Chua, Chief Executive Officer of Paradise Group Holdings and the team of chefs after many rounds of tasting and testing.

My personal favorite is the Black Truffle once I sip the broth I paused for a while and get back to the reality that's how amazing how it was made each small xiao long bao. Each is designed to give a different flavor experience in each bite a sampler of sorts for their Xiao Long Bao offerings. The clockwise order is designed to start you off with a mild flavor that gradually gets stronger and stronger. But the important elements of any good Xiao long Bao still remain: meaty, warm and soupy.

A bit spicy but tolerable I love that I know how fresh the fish and best eaten when it's hot.

When I first saw it I was like ah just an ordinary lettuce vegetable thing, but NO because it may seem as though it is just some common lettuce rolled but it is more than what I see that my mouth couldn't explain. I loved it and almost ate 4 rolls of it and it is my instant favorite one of the reason I will surely keep on coming back at Paradise Dynasty. Plus the homemade sesame sauce complemented the taste itself just perfect!

Spicy Szechuan Crispy Chicken - Php 298.00
Stir-fried chunks of crispy and tender chicken cooked in a wonderful mix of spices loaded with nuts and an inviting aroma of dried chilies that complemented its flavor. At first look, you might think what a spicy dish but when you get to take a piece of the chicken you'll keep on wanting for more, just don't eat the chili to avoid exploding the hot flavor of it.

If you are a health-conscious person this one is a must-order for you, made from shredded radish in a light and flaky pastry shell —tastes heavenly especially.

With all the dishes that have been served, it is still best to eat with rice and one of which is fried rice in shanghai style bursting with some vegetables and of course my favorite shrimps. I can even eat it alone but it's still best to eat with other Paradise Dynasty dishes along.

Black may describe a lot of negativity but it's just a color, and for Paradise Dynasty these black colored charcoal custard lava bun has a creamy, sweet, soft, mildly salty, and fluffy bun has a sweet surprise inside. The hot custard with the salted egg complemented its flavor which is hidden surprise hiding the black bun.
