This special entrée is a delectable take on the traditional Southern American dish, bourbon chicken. Along with fresh vegetables and crispy boneless chicken bits, the dish is wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy bourbon sauce and garnished with sesame seeds. On February 12, 2025, Panda Express held a special media event at its SM Mall of Asia location to commemorate its launch. During the event, invited guests had the chance to sample Spicy Bourbon Chicken, a new American Chinese classic. Resident Chef Israel Mata, who has worked for Panda Express Philippines since its initial opening in 2019, led a live cooking demonstration and kitchen tour during the event. During the event, guests also had the opportunity to explore an exclusive Spice Bowl Bar, where they could customize their Spicy Bourbon Chicken meals with side dishes to find the ideal combination for their level of spice tolerance.
