Cebu Pacific Kicks Off Direct Manila – Sapporo Flights

On January 16, CEB will begin offering three weekly direct flights—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—between Manila and Sapporo. Arriving in Sapporo at 5:25 PM (local time), the flight leaves Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at 11:15 AM. The flight departs at 6:25 PM from New Chitose International Airport and lands in Manila at 11:20 PM (local time).

As the only airline to provide direct flights between Manila and Sapporo, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the top airline in the Philippines, established itself as the biggest airline linking the Philippines and Japan on Thursday by operating its first flight from Manila to Sapporo.

With its excellent international connectivity, distinctively low fares, and unrivaled seat sales, Sapporo, CEB's fifth destination in Japan, offers Filipinos more chances to travel there. In addition to Sapporo, CEB offers flights from Manila, Clark, or Cebu to Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.

With CEB's direct service, travelers can save up to 63% on airfare and cut the trip time by up to five hours.

Philippine Transportation Undersecretary Bobby Lim, Japan National Tourism Office Executive Director Makoto Watanabe, and Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines His Excellency Endo Kazuya graced the festive ceremony at NAIA Terminal 3 to launch CEB's newest international destination.

Additionally, the new direct flights to Sapporo facilitate visitors' exploration of the area's well-liked winter activities. Every Juan can enjoy something, whether it's skiing on snowy slopes or taking in the Sapporo Snow Festival. To make the most of their trip, visitors can also take a walk along the Otaru Canal, unwind in onsens, or enjoy freshly brewed beer at the Sapporo Beer Museum.

Passengers can book flights and take advantage of other add-ons using their current Travel Funds. Other payment methods that CEB provides include e-wallets and credit or debit cards.

CEB operates in 37 domestic and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

CEB is the largest airline connecting Philippines and Japan.
